• Tap to take pics
: Allows you to tap the screen to take a picture.
• Save as
: Assigns rich tone usage to an image (available in
HDR mode only).
• Video size
: Select a resolution for photos. Use higher resolution
for higher quality. Higher resolution photos take up more
memory.
• Recording mode
: Choose whether to limit video size for
multimedia text messages. Select either Normal or Limit for MMS.
• Effects
: Select an effect to apply to pictures or videos that will be
taken.
• Flash
: Set the flash to On (always flash), Off, or Auto (flash only
if the light levels require it).
• Timer
: Use this for delayed shots. You can set the timer to Off,
2 sec, 5 sec, or 10 sec.
• Location tags
: Attaches a GPS location tag to the photo. To
improve GPS signals, avoid recording in locations where the
signal may be obstructed, such as between buildings or in
low-lying areas, or in poor weather conditions. Your location
may appear on your photos when you upload them to the
Internet. To avoid this, deactivate the location tag setting.
• Storage location
: Select storage location if a memory card is
installed. You can choose between device storage and memory
card.
• Review pics/videos
: View each photo or video immediately
after you take it.
• Remote viewfinder
: Take pictures using the viewfinder of a
connected device. A Wi-Fi Direct connection is required.
• The Volume key
: Assign a function to the volume key. Choose
from Take pictures, Record video, or Zoom.
• Voice control
: Set the camera to take photos with voice
commands.
• Help
: Display Camera information.
• Reset settings
: Reset the camera settings.
Viewing Your Photos
After you take a photo, you can access various options from
the Image Viewer. The Image Viewer uses your Gallery. For
more information, refer to
“Gallery”
on page 102.
