DVD Auto Chapter

(V-mode) (DVD-VR475M only)
A DVD-Video consists of ‘Titles’ and ‘Chapters’.
When you record one programme, it makes one Title.
If you use this function, the Title will be divided into Chapters.
Automatically divides a recording (a title) into chapters by inserting
chapter markings at specifi ed intervals. The markings are inserted while
the recording is being made.
Press the

: No chapter mark is inserted.

: Inserts chapter marks at approximately 5 minute intervals.

: Inserts chapter marks at approximately 15 minute intervals.

button to exit the menu.

button to start recording.

button to stop recording.

To display the created titles, fi nalise the disc (See page 79) and then
press the
TITLE MENU
button. The title menu will be displayed.
The DVD Auto Chapter function does not work during Timer
Recording or when you turn the power off .

Before you insert an unused disc, you can select a recording format
(VR mode or Video mode) according to your needs.
Selects the format for an unused DVD-RW, when fi rst inserted.
VR
: Automatically formats the disc in VR mode
Video
: Automatically formats the disc in Video mode
EZ Record

This function allows you to initialise and Finalise a disc automatically.
Press the

If the disc is new, It is initialised to V mode automatically. (DVD-RW
