Edit Channel Number
Select this to edit the channel number in the
channel manager. (See page 34)
This menu will be displayed only when you set the
country to New Zealand.
Disable
: Select disable if you do not want to
edit channel number.
Enable
: Select enable if you want to edit
channel number.
Digital Text (only New Zealand)
If the programme broadcasts with digital text, this
feature is enabled.
Disable
: Select disable if you do not want to
use digital text.
Enable
: Select enable if you want to use digital
text.
MHEG (Multimedia and Hypermedia
Information Coding Experts Group)

An International standard for data encoding
systems used in multimedia and hypermedia.
This is at a higher level than the MPEG system
which includes data-linking hypermedia such
as still images, character service, animation,
graphic and video files as well as multimedia
data. MHEG is user runtime interaction
technology and is being applied to various
fields including VOD (Video-On-Demand), ITV
(Interactive TV), EC (Electronic Commerce),
teleeducation, teleconferencing, digital libraries
and network games.

Network
Before you begin, contact your ISP to find out
if your IP address is static or dynamic. If it is
dynamic, and you are using a wired or wireless
connection, we recommend using the Auto
procedures. If you are using a wireless connection
and your router has the capability, you can use
WPS(PBC) or One Foot Connection.
If your IP address is static, you must use the
manual set up procedure for both wired and
wireless connections.

To begin setting up the network connection for
