Playing a Disc
Playback

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE

) button to
open the disc tray.
Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s
label facing up.
Press the
OPEN/CLOSE
(
) button to
close the disc tray.
The disc will be played automatically.
Playback related buttons

PLAY ( )
Starts playback.
STOP ( )
Stops playback.
If pressing the button once : The
stop position will be memorized.
If pressing the button twice : The
stop position will be not memorized.

PAUSE ( )
Pauses playback.
NOTE
For some discs, pressing the
STOP
(
) button
once may not memorize the resume position.

The contents of disc are usually divided as below.

NOTE
Note that there are the following restrictions for the
playback of a BD disc while recording a broadcasting
program.
If you play a 2D video while recording a
broadcasting program, features such as
BonusView, BD-LIVE and BonusView slide show
audio will not be supported.
If you play a 3D video while recording a
broadcasting program, the video will be displayed
in 2D, rather than in 3D, and features such as
BonusView, BD-LIVE and BonusView slide show
audio will not be supported.
