3-2-2(h) Refrigerant Refill
• When leakage occurs, it is required to discharge all the gas in the system and refill the
air-conditioner with refrigerant(R407C) as follows.
1. Collect the rest refrigerant from the system
with using recycling device.
3. Connect the pressure gauge to the 3-way
valve and open all packed valves.
4. Vacuum the system with pump for over 1
hour.
7. Stop operation of the air conditioner.
9. Close the cap of each valve.
2. Repair the leak point.
5. Refill the system with the rated weight of
refrigerant.
6. Operate the system and check the pressure
indicated by the gauge(low pressure side)
* Recommended low pressure is
4.5 ~ 5.5kg/cm 2
(refer to the graph in 3-12 page.)
8. Disconnect the pressure gauge from the
packed valve.
