Connecting to the printer with a mobile device
If you set the printer as a
Group Owner
, the wireless devices, such as
notebook PC or smart phone, can connect to the printer as if it were an
access point connection.

Open wireless network settings in a
mobile device.

Enter the
Network Key

Search for and find your printer on the
mobile device. The format of the printer's
name will be
[DIRECT-xx
Device Name

If the connection is successful, the printer
distributes the IP Address to the mobile
device with internal DHCP server.

Access the printer.
