
Note:
“Automatically write to memory pen” is reset after the first time data are transferred
from the actuator.
8.2.4 Command mode
The memory pen is configured to be a command pen in TROVIS-VIEW. The command pen
allows the user to move the valve to the open and closed position.
While the actuator is in closed loop operation, the memory pen can be used to transfer the
device to the command mode.
Create command pen using TROVIS-VIEW
1. Plug memory pen (3) together with modular adapter (2) into the serial interface (COM
port) of the computer (1) (Fig. 15).
2. Select
Set command mode in Memory
pen menu.
3. Set required action (
Stem retracts or
Stem extends).
4. Click
OK button.
5. Remove memory pen from computer and
plug it into the serial interface of the ac-
tuator (Fig. 16).
The actuator stem is extended or retracted depending on the setting selected.
6. After removing the memory pen from the actuator, the device returns to normal opera-
tion.

Data logging
Note:
The data logging function can only be performed with the memory pen – 64.
The memory pen – 64 allows the following data to be saved:
– Flow temperature
– Return flow temperature
– Binary input state
