Installation
Compensation chamber
A compensation chamber (8) is required for
liquids above 150 °C as well as for steam
(see Fig. 5-4). Install the compensation
chamber at the highest point of the pipeline.
The mounting position of the compensation
chamber is indicated by an adhesive label
on the chamber itself as well as by an arrow
and the word "top" stamped on the top of
the chamber.
This mounting position must be adhered to;
otherwise the safe functioning of the regula-
tor cannot be guaranteed (see Fig. 5-2).
