TROUBLE
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Material is no longer coming
out of the gun
Clogged tip
Check gun material supply.
Shut off pressure on pump.
Depressurize the hoses.
Remove and clean spray tip and
filter.
For the reversible tip, pivot the
tip at 180 degree to unclogg it.
If no improvement : remove it
and change it.
For the flat tip, remove it and
change it.
Spray fan is not uniform
Tip partially clogged
Unappropriate tip
Use an appropriate tip size
Worn tip
Change tip
Fluid cannot be sprayed
Increase pump supply air
pressure
Material viscosity too high
Reduce viscosity
Pattern width narrows during
reversing phase of pump
Air trapped in the fluid circuit
Check connection and suction
hose quality
Viscosity too high
Reduce viscosity
Air cap becomes dirtly
frequently
Too much air

Seat-holder leaking
Replace the seat-holder
