10.3 Decommissioning
10.3.1 Decommissioning
Disconnect the system from the mains.
Remove all connections to other devices.
10.3.2 Cleaning
Clean the system thoroughly, but only from the outside.
You can also clean the inside of the control box by unscrewing the cover.
Carry out the maintenance work as described in the chapter "Maintenance".
10.3.3 Conservation
If necessary, apply a corrosion protection agent to all components of the system that are at
risk of corrosion, excluding the module, if such damage is to be expected.
10.3.4 Packaging
Pack the module to prevent damage and soiling.
10.3.5 Labelling
Attach a notice to the module on which the most important key data is available:
•
Date of storage
•
Indication of preservatives used, if applicable
•
Maintenance work carried out during storage
•
Expected recommissioning
•
Maintenance schedule with the next maintenance work
10.4 Recommissioning
To recommission the system, carry out the following activities:
Install the system as described on pages 23 ff.
If possible, remove all packaging and transport locks first.
Remove all anti-corrosion agents.
Clean the system.
Carry out any necessary maintenance work according to your maintenance schedule.
Check the system for existing mechanical damage.
Connect the system to the mains.
Carry out commissioning and trial operation as described on page 23 ff.
