3.1
Description of the system
The PL1001A built-in plasma module is an ionic air purifier for the removal of viruses, bacteria,
mould, pollen and dust. Corona viruses, for example, are proven to be removed at a rate of over
99.5 % in 30 minutes in the room (tested by the Fraunhofer Institute (IVV) using the bacteriophage
Phi6 DSM 21518).
The system also removes unpleasant odours such as
cigarette smoke and some food odours from rooms.
It cleans the air directly in the room and not only in the
unit. No mechanical filters, chemicals or UV light are
required, making the system largely maintenance-
free.
The system is only intended for continuous air
disinfection in indoor rooms with a minimum size of
125 m³, it is designed for installation in existing or
newly planned ventilation systems.
For larger systems, several modules can be operated
in cascade.
A complete system consists of the plasma module (1), the high-voltage generation (2) and the con-
trol unit (3).
