•
Disconnect the upstream ventilation system from the electrical power supply (if present) before
carrying out any maintenance work.
•
Do not modify the module and use it only for the intended purpose, according to section page
13 "Intended use". Other uses are only permitted with the written consent of the operator. The
manufacturer declines all liability for damage resulting from failure to observe this instruction.
•
Do not operate the module until you have read and understood all instructions.
•
Train your operating and assembly personnel in the respective native language. If you would
like to translate the operating instructions into other languages, please contact us. Check
whether your operating personnel have understood the operation.
•
Maintenance work may only be carried out by authorised persons who have been trained for
this activity.
•
Never switch on the upstream ventilation system during repair work. Secure the upstream venti-
lation system against unintentional switching on (e.g., with padlocks on the main switch) to pre-
vent the upstream ventilation system from starting unexpectedly.
•
Do not wear long hair loose, wear loose clothes or loose jewellery to avoid getting caught in the
parts of the module and the installation.
•
You must be familiar with the position of any emergency stop devices that may be present, the
behaviour in the event of faults and emergencies, and how to switch off the upstream ventilation
system before working with the module so that you can react quickly and correctly in emer-
gency situations.
