TORNADO
ROTARY SNOW BLOWER
OPERATOR’S MANUAL
❑
Operating speeds of the tractor and plow set should be adjusted to operating conditions such as:
size of unevenness, presence of stones, curbs and other municipal obstacles
.
❑
It is recommended to keep low operating speed
–
with low tractor gears engaged. Operation with
higher speed may expose the operator to injuries and blower
’
s and tractor
’
s 3-point linkage parts
to damaging.
❑
There should be no unauthorized personnel present within the blower
’
s operating reach
.
NOTE:
Keep the children away from the machine both in operation and standstill.
NOTE:
Securing both danger area and activity performed shall lie under responsibility
of the person in charge of the machine transporting.
❑
Prior to operating, the machine should undergo a technical inspection paying particular attention
to condition of basic connections of machine
’
s assemblies as well as proper mounting of the
machine to a tractor
.
❑
The tractor used with the blower should be equipped with a driver's cabin.
❑
When performing any activity requiring lifting onto tractor
’
s 3-point linkage, it is necessary to
protect the blower from falling.
❑
When not operating, the blower should be in standstill position.
❑
Do not let the vehicle's engine operate without any supervision. Before leaving the vehicle, turn the
engine off and take the ignition key out.
❑
The operator is not allowed to leave the tractor while driving.
❑
Bolts and other fasteners should be inspected on regular basis. Operating with damaged or worn
fasteners is not admissible.
❑
No person or object is allowed to be present on the blower when transported or operating.
❑
It is forbidden to climb the machine while operating.
❑
Special attention should be paid to the cover-guards of the drive shafts. Never work with damaged
shaft guards.
❑
Damaged hydraulic hoses and other hydraulic parts should be replaced with new ones.
❑
Hydraulic hoses should be periodically checked and in the event of damage or age should be
replaced. Hydraulic hoses should not be used for a period longer than 5 years.
❑
Never repair damaged hydraulic hoses with tape.
❑
While connecting hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic connectors on the tractor make sure
the hydraulic system of the tractor and the machine is not under pressure.
❑
When working with hydraulic systems wear safety glasses and work gloves. Hydraulic oil under
pressure (20 MPa) can penetrate the skin and cause an infection. In the event of such injury
immediately get medical care.
❑
Blower should be mounted on tractor only with genuine pins and safety devices
.
❑
If any part of the snow blower needs to be replaced, use only genuine spare parts according to
spare part list.
❑
In the event of any break in the equipment operation, turn off the drive.
