6.2. Detaching from vehicle

 

To detach SnowPick plow from the vehicle: 

 

on the control panel, set the shield in position for pushing the snow (Fig. 

15

c), 

 

lower the shield on the ground, 

 

unfold support foot, 

 

disconnect all electrical wires, 

 

remove cotter and lock bolt (Fig. 7 C, D), 

 

drive the vehicle away to detach the plow from the former, 

 

tighten electrical connections. 

 

7. OPERATING SERVICE 

 

Before any operation activity: 

 

make sure the plow is properly mounted on the vehicle, 

 

examine condition of hydraulic hoses and connections, 

 

check operation of plow’s hydraulics and lights,  

 

examine condition of clearing bar, and if needed, replace it, 

 

check torque of all bolts and nuts according to Tab. 4

 

adjust height of support toppings, 

 

if any torn bolts or damaged parts are found – replace them. 

 
After each 5 h of operation:
 

 

examine condition of clearing bars, 

 

adjust height of support toppings if necessary,

 

 

After completion of operation: 

 

clean and wash the plow thoroughly.
