5.2.
Increasing load of vehicle's rear axle
After mounting the plow on the vehicle it is recommended to apply increased load on the
vehicle's rear axle. Amount of required additional load can be calculated from the below formula:

C – distance between plow's center of gravity and hitch protection point (value for calculations – see
Tab. 2), D – distance between hitch protection and vehicle's front axle, E – distance between vehicle's axes,
F – ballast, M – plow's weight (value for calculations – see Tab. 1)
5.3.
Preparing plow for operation
After the plow is properly mounted on the tractor, inspect and examine whether the plow's
clearing bars are in good condition or there are no loosen bolt connections. If needed, replace worn
elements and tighten screws. If the plow is ready for operation set it in a desired position and start
clearing snow. The Fig. 15 shows basic working positions of the plow. When operating on public
roads, make sure lighting is always on.
