5.3.
Preparing the mower for operation
Before operation please learn the above provisions in
5.1. Connecting the flail mower to the
vehicle
.
After the above is completed the mower shall be considered as ready for operation. Then
depending on a machine version, follow instructions given hereinafter
.
5.3.1.
Preparing the NANO 150 H flail mower for operation
In order to prepare the NANO 150 H flail mower suspended on the vehicle for mowing the
following should be performed:
lower the flail mower into contact with the ground,
remove spring cotter (

) and detach shorter end of cable (

) from the pin (

,
install longer end of cable (

) on the pin (

and secure with spring cotter (

,
using loader arms adjust position of the hitch (

) so that rocker arms (

) are parallel to the
ground. While you can use ground-following shaft (

),
open the hydraulic supply to reach rated rotary speed of the working shaft. Ensure adequate oil
consumption,
engage vehicle gear and start operating.

5.3.2.
Preparing the NANO 150 flail mower for operation
Before starting work:
gently lower the cutting unit until the ground-following shaft makes contact with the ground,
turn on the rear PTO until the flail shaft reaches nominal speed,
engage vehicle gear and start operating
.
5.4.
Operation
5.4.1.
Basic information on mowing
In an urban setting, to ensure that the mower works without breaking, it is recommended that a
pilot who will mark all obstacles, should walk in front of the mower.
While crossing roads, on pedestrian crossings or other permanent obstacles the mower must
always be raised using the actuator.
