7.3.
Roller cog gear
Prior to commencing examination of oil level in roller cog gear unscrew bolts holding
protective housing. Prior to work commencement check oil level and in the gear, and if need be,
refill after removing the vent A (Fig. 34) in the upper section of the gear. Oil level is examined by
removing the check plug B on the gear's back wall. If the oil level is too low refill the oil until it is
visible in the check opening B. Oil level in gear: approx. 0.5 l. Oil level is checked after the
cutterbar is set horizontally on the ground. To drain the oil from the gear use plug C, found in lower
section of the gear's body.

7.4.
Bearings and joints
Every 50 hours of mower's operation, lubricate bearing beds of conditioner rollers as well as
mower's main joints (Fig. 35- 39). Manufacturer recommended lubricant is ŁT43 grease or other
equivalent lubricant for rolling and sliding bearings which operate in temperatures between -30°
and +130°C.
