Unbox
Carefully remove the Sam4POS terminal from the shipping container.
Remove all shipping material and protective covers.
In the case of the SAP-530, install paper into the printer:
1.
Carefully open the printer cover.
2.
Open the platen arm by gently pulling the yellow lever located at the front-left side of the
printer.
3.
Install the 80mm thermal paper (ensure paper is being fed from the bottom of the roll).
4.
Pull the leading end of the paper over the front of the printer.
5.
Close the platen arm until it clicks into place.
6.
Reconnect the printer cover.
CAUTION
Never touch the printer’s thermal head and platen. Avoid the thermal paper from heat. Humidity or
direct sunlight.
