Connecting the water supply
● Observe the regional conditions and the "Technical Rules for Drinking Water Installations
EN 1717”!
● Rinse through the water pipes in the building system and supply hoses before connecting.
● The appliance must be connected to an easily accessible water stopcock.
● We recommend connecting the water supply to the hot water pipe so that the appliance heats up
more quickly.
● Connect to a hot water supply of no more than 60
°
C.
● Water pressure: min. 200 kPa (2 bar) dynamic, maximum 600 kPa (6 bar) static..
● In order to compensate for pressure fluctuations and to avoid spraying when filling, fit a pressure
reducing valve locally and set to 200 kPa.
● To reduce limescale build-up in the appliance where the water hardness is greater than 10
°
dKH,,
we recommend installing a water softener in the water supply.
● There must be no connecting pipes made from galvanized iron or similar material between the
water softening device and the appliance, otherwise there is a risk of rust forming!
● Observe the installation and user manuals for the water softener connected.
● The supply hose may not be kinked or crushed!
● Check that all connections are watertight.
