BEFORE FIRST USE
Take the appliance out of the box and take off any protective wrappings. REMEMBER: DO
NOT LEAVE PROTECTIVE PACKAGING LYING AROUND, AS IT COULD BE DANGEROUS
AROUND INFANTS. Before first use, wipe the grill and griddle plates clean.
Please note that you may notice a slight odour or some smoke emitting from the plates during
first use. This is normal due to possible remaining manufacturing residues.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure that the unit is “off”, unplugged from the power supply and situated on a flat
stable surface.
Wipe the grill and griddle plates to ensure that they are clean.
Now apply a slight amount of edible oil or butter to the bottom grilling or griddle plates.
Plug the unit into the power supply. You will notice that the power indicator light will turn
on, indicating that the power is on and that the unit is starting to heat up. After
approximately 2-3 minutes, you can put food on to the grilling/ griddle plate for cooking.
Tip: If the food does stick to the non-stick plates, we recommend that you try to remove
the food using utensils such as chopsticks or a spatula. Use only utensils which will not
scratch or stick to the plates.
After use, unplug the appliance.
After it has cooled down, wipe the interior of the plates with a damp cloth and make sure
that the appliance body is clean.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable.
Do not open or change any parts by yourself. Please refer to a qualified electrical service
department or return to the supplier if servicing is necessary.
