6.  INSTALLATION.

6.1.  LOCATION.

The batteries in the

EQX2-Batt

 series have been designed with

an enclosure with IP54 degree of protection, suitable for indoor and

outdoor installations. The following factors should be taken into

account when selecting an installation location for the inverter and

battery:

1.

The wall on which the batteries are mounted must be able to

support their weight.

2.

The batteries must be installed in a well-ventilated environ-

ment.

3.

Make sure that the batteries are not exposed directly to

strong sunlight to avoid operation at excessive temperatures.

The  batteries should be installed in a place sheltered from

direct sunlight and rain.

4.

Install the batteries at eye level for ease of maintenance.

5.

The ambient temperature of the place where the batteries are

installed must be between 0ºC and +50ºC.

6.

Do not touch the batteries during operation and install them

out of the reach of children.

6.1.1.  Installation location.

We recommend installing the batteries of hybrid inverters

indoors. However, if there is no choice but to install out-

doors, Fig. 7 shows recommended locations, as well as those to

avoid:

Fig. 7.  Recommended locations for the inverter and batteries.

Warning

Do not store flammable and/or explosive materials near

the inverter and batteries.

6.2.  ASSEMBLY PROCESS.

6.2.1.  Installing the base.

1.

Check the installation area and the floor level.

2.

Place the base on the ground, ensuring that it is level and

stable.

Measure with a spirit level

Fig. 8.  Adjusting and levelling the base.

3.

The distance between the base and the wall should be

between 20 mm and 120 mm.

Fig. 9.  Distance to the wall.

6.2.2.  Installing the module.

1.

After installing the base, remove the protective film from the

terminals and reposition the remaining battery module and the

control module.
