IMPORTANT: At the end of their life dispose of the batteries in your 
remote control according to Local Authority regulations. Do not 
dispose of batteries with your normal household rubbish.

Should the device fall over or tilt it will automatically cut the

MAINTENANCE – TURN IT OFF AND UNPLUG FIRST

Before cleaning or changing heating tubes turn the heater off, unplug 
from the power supply and wait for the unit to cool down.   

• 

To clean the heater use a soft cloth to wipe off any dust.  

• 

If the heater is very dirty use a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any 
cleaning detergents, sprays or other chemicals, as they will damage the 
unit.   

• 

When the heater is not in use for a long period, clean and place in its 
cover and store in a dry place. 

• 

Never use any other type of lamp other than ES Low Energy 40W or 
less (DO NOT USE INCANDESCENT LAMPS) simply unscrew the front 
opaque glass panel to access the ES 40W CFL and exchange the lamp. 
Ensure the moisture seals are put back on when replacing the panel. 

 

WARNING: Do not light cigarettes using this heating element, as it will

Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after the unit 
malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged. 

• 

For your convenience, record the complete model number and product 
name (located on the Product Identification Plate), the date you 
purchased the product, and attach your purchase receipt docket as proof 
of purchase. To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the 
complete faulty product together with your purchase receipt should be 
returned to your retailer.
