8. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

8.1 WATER SIDE

Preliminary operations

Before carrying out any washing operations, check

that the stopper in the bottom of the wash basin is in

place.

Also make sure that the non-woven fabric filter is

correctly positioned on the filtering tank.

Manual cleaning with brush

Put the ON/OFF switch in the ON position to dispen-

se water sucked up from the collection tank through

the brush.

Then manually clean the parts.

The machine is supplied with a mobile grid placed on

the washing tank to hold the parts whencarrying out

manual washing using the atomiser brush or air gun

provided.

Use the air gun to dry the washed parts.

Instructions for emptyng the tank

When the washing tank is full of water mixed with

paint, to empty it proceed as follows:

1. Add the coagulant in the percentages indicated by

the supplier of the paint product.

2. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON and turn the pneu-

matic mixer regulator knob on the front of the machi-

ne clockwise. Air will begin to come out of the mixer

tuve. This Will make the water bubble with a mixing

action.

By continuing to turn the regulator knob clockwise,

the intensity of the air jets and the relative mixing

power will increase.

Adjust mixing intensity carefully; improper use could

cause spurts of liquid/paint.

For this reason, it is advisable to use mínimum intensity

if mixing is performed out with a partially empty tank.

3. When the paint is coagulated, turn off the pneuma-

tic mixer by turning the relevant knob anticlockwise.

4. Remove the stopper from the bottom of the

washing tank.

5. Wait for the washing tank to empty completely.

6. The filtering phase will last a few seconds depen-

ding on the degree of cleanliness of the nonwoven

fabric filter. Wait until all the mixture goes through the

filter. The coagulated paint Will remain in the filter,

while the re-usable clean wáter will be deposited in

the lower collection tank.

7. Replace the stopper in the bottom of the washing

tank.

To prevent spurts, cover the upper tank with the

plastic lid provided with the machine.

8.2 SOLVENT SIDE

Initial washing

1. Dismantle the gun and empty the canister into a

suitable recipient. Raise the lid of the machine.

2. Raise the lid of the tub. Press the trigger of the

spray gun and use the nylon clip to block the trigger

of the spray gun.

3. Insert the blower nozzle into the air inlet of the

spray gun as shown in the diagram.

4. Place the spray gun and relative components on

the washing spray jet system inside the washing tub

taking care to insert the spray gun into the spray

nozzle.

It is advisable to use the automatic wash cycle with

full loads only, otherwise there is a risk that the

nozzles not occupied by the canister or spray gun

may spray solvent directly onto the lid of the tub,

causing leakage of solvent.

Close the lid of the tub. Turn the On/Off switch on the

machine to ON. Turn the dirty-clean lever to vertical

position for recirculation.
