The smoke evacuation takes place through a chim-

ney on the upper end of the machine and is powered

by a forced suction (venture effect) that is automati-

cally activated depending on the mode of operation

of the machine.

This chimney must then be connected to the general

workshop extraction or brought outside the workshop.

In this second case, the chimney connected to the

machine must cover at least a portion in the vertical

of 1 meter before being led outside.

For an easy installation, the chimney is generally an

aluminum tube, flexible and extensible.

The fumes of solvent dispersed in that way do not

need further treatment.

7.5. POSITIONING

The COMPACT 235 must be positioned in a well-ai-

red place.

The area must be equipped with all means provided

for by the Italian Legislative 626/94, relating to Italian

Legislation with reference to the health and safety of

the workers in the working environment.

Position the machine on the floor and make sure that

there is sufficient space around the machine to carry

out normal maintenance operations or inspections.

7.6. PUTTING INTO USE

The operations for connecting the machine to the

pneumatic mains supply and positioning the pipes in

the various drums are described below.

1. Connect the earthing cable (No.13) provided with

the machine and marked yellow/Green on the cable

lug to a screw on the machine Hood (No.14), on the

side of the free terminal to the earth contact of

electric system.

2. Make sure that the ON/OFF switches (No.27) of

the machine are in the off position (horizontal).

3. Connect the machine air connection (No.15) to the

line of compressed air (max. 7 bar).

4. Remove the lower door of the machine.

5. Put two drums half-filled with clean solvent on the

bottom at the base unit. One of them must be placed

under the drain of the washing tank. Immerse the two

suction pipes (No.6 and No.7) equipped with their

filters in the drum placed under the drain, which will

always contain recirculation solvent.

6. Insert the two suction pipes (No.8 and No.9) for

clean solvent into the second drum which will always

contain clean solvent

7. Replace the lower front door of the machine read

this manual carefully to ensure the best performance

from your machine.

Make sure that users read, understand and comply

with all the precautions and warnings contained

herein.

8.1. INITIAL WASHING

1. Dismantle the gun and empty the canister into a

suitable recipient. Raise the lid of the machine.

2. Raise the lid of the tub Press the trigger of the

spray gun and use the nylon clip (No.25) to block the

trigger of the spray gun.

3. Insert the blower nozzle into the air inlet of the

spray gun as shown in the diagram.

4. Place the spray gun

and relative compo-

nents on the washing

spray jet system inside

the washing tub taking

care to insert the spray

gun into the spray

nozzle (No.21).

It is advisable to use the automatic wash cycle with

full loads only, otherwise there is a risk that the

nozzles not occupied by the canister or spray gun

may spray solvent

directly onto the

lid of the tub,

causing leakage

of solvent.
