Maintenance
General information
In order to maintain your machine in good working order, it is recommended to periodically clean the inside.
Normal use of the machine, requires the following rules to be respected:
• To clean the machine, use a soft cloth.
• Never spray detergent directly onto the machine as it may infiltrate the vents and damage internal circuits.
• To clean the machine, avoid using abrasive or corrosive solvents or products containing solvents (alcohol or ben-
zene).
• Always start by applying the cleaning product (mild detergent) to a small surface of the device to check the result.
• Never use abrasive or rough cloths (steel wool or plastic).
• Never try to lubricate the machine.
• Never try to dismantle the machine.
Cleaning
The presence of dust, dirt and paper debris on the external surfaces and inside the machine may hinder its operation.
We recommend you clean it regularly.
You can obtain cleaning wipes dampened in isopropyl alcohol, part number 189724942, from our Customer
Service (tel: 01 30 17 98 91).
Cleaning the outside of the machine
Clean the outside of the machine using a soft cloth moistened with neutral household detergent.
Use a soft damp to clean the machine. Never use abrasive materials or corrosive detergents.
Cleaning the scanner panes
To clean the scanner panes, follow these steps:

Turn the machine off by unplugging the power cord from the wall socket.

Open the scanner cover by pressing the buttons located on the left and right.
Caution
For your safety, you must read the safety instructions in the chapter Safety [
5].
WARNING
Firstly, disconnect the mains power cable and all interface cables. Ensure that no
water or detergent enters the machine, or it may be damaged or cause electrocu-
tion.
