- Mode (digital, analogue or automatic)
In automatic mode access can be gained to the Vodafone network by a digital link and an analogue link to a different network
(in roaming).
GPRS parameters :
- Login
- Password
- IP address of WAP gateway
- Port type (secure or non secure)
- APN: if no APN has been defined, press [ Options ] then the APN menu. Select or add an APN.
Provider title: to change the provider title.
Homepage: to change the homepage.
Once all the settings have been entered, you can activate the chosen access provider. Select it from the list. Select it from
the list by pressing OK .
Vodafone live! logging on
The connection to a WAP service on the GPRS network is not cut if an incoming call is received. You may answer the call
without interrupting your WAP connection.
You can log onto Vodafone live! site by pressing the key on the initial screen, or by going to menu Vodafone live! . This
page is offline, you won't actually be connected until you select one of the links. When you are being connected (through the
GSM or GPRS networks) you'll see the symbol flash in the menu bar.
Downloading objects
The Vodafone live! site allows you to download tunes, icons, animated screensavers, games or Java™ applications. Once
downloaded, they are stored in your phone's memory. Wallpapers and pictures are saved to My Pictures menu, Sounds and
ringtones are saved to My Sounds .
