As long as the button is pressed, the device carries out continuous range measure-
ments. Approximately every 0.5 seconds a new measurement is conducted and its
value shown.

After releasing the push button, the last measured range will be displayed.

While the display is on, keep on clicking to display the equivalent horizontal
range, the elevation angle and the azimuth (see also "Complete measurement" on
page 21).

Keep on clicking to display the range and the other values.

The scan mode is in particular useful for measuring the range to small
or moving objects.
à Because of the continuous measurements, power consumption is
greater in scan mode than for single measurements.
à Depending on the configuration, the measurement data will be trans-
mitted via Bluetooth to a receiving device (e.g. Smartphone or Kestrel
Weather Meter).
à A fast flashing Bluetooth symbol is indicating a Bluetooth connection
error.
