Sub-Stream
The Sub-Stream menu is similar to the
Record Setting menu, except it controls
the quality of video when networked
with a central management system
(CMS).
MODE SET:
Select
MODE1
or
MODE2
and then select
SURE
. MODE1 refers to
LAN or WiFi networks. MODE2 refers to
other wireless networks.
Select the following for each channel:
EN:
Select
ON
to enable this camera for
sub-streaming. Select
OFF
to disable it.
RES:
Select the resolution for this camera
when sub-streaming. Select from
CIF
or
QCIF
.
FR:
Select the frame rate in seconds of
this camera when sub-streaming. Select
from
1
to
30
FPS.
QUALITY (MODE1 only):
Select the
quality of recording when substreaming,
with
1
being the best and
8
being the
lowest.
BIT (MODE1 only):
Select a bit-rate
consistent with your agency’s wireless
hardware.
SUB-STREAM MODE (MODE2 only):
Select
ADAPT
or
FIX
. Selecting ADAPT
allows the SVR-4100 to automatically
select the optimal bit-rate; selecting FIX
sets the bit-rate to the entry in the BIT
field.
Adjust these settings to achieve the
optimal data transfer rate to image
quality ratio.
