ROADRECORDER 8400 NVR USER GUIDE
Help Windows
Each screen in the RoadRecorder 8400 NVR configuration
interface includes a comprehensive help menu. The help
menus explain the functionality and parameters of each
field.
To access the help menu for a screen, simply click the
Help
button at the top right of the screen. The help menu
appears in a new window.
Firmware Configuration
Users can import and export configuration files from
this section. A configuration file saves all of the NVR’s
configuration settings, which can then be duplicated across
multiple NVRs.
Configuration files are interchangeable between NVRs,
however unique fields such as vehicle name and network
information should be updated for each individual NVR.
Import/Export NVR Configuration
Select Configuration File
To import a saved configuration file, click the
Browse/
Import
button. Navigate to where the appropriate file
is saved and click
Open
. Confirm the appropriate file is
displayed and click
Browse/Import
. The configuration
file is uploaded automatically. By importing a
configuration file, the NVR will immediately reboot on its
own.
Select Destination Directory
To save a configuration file, confirm all configuration
settings are set appropriately, then click the Browse/
Export button. Navigate to the destination of your choice
and click Select Folder to save the configuration file.
Username / Password Configuration
Users can update Username and Password from this section
for auto login.
