For MS & E - remove the electronic board & the battery housing.

2.

Unscrew the 4 (E4) or 6 (MS4) nuts.

3.

For C, C4, & SL - unplug the lock assembly connector from the
electronic board.

4.

Remove the 5 star rings (They cannot be reused.)
