DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
There are two possibilities in this mode.
First possibilty: CHOICE OF THE «CONTACT» CUTTING
MODE
This cutting mode is the best for quality and accessibility. It is rec-
ommended when cutting material up to 8 mm in thickness.
Step 1: Fit the torch with its wearing parts
1. Thin electrode
2. Nozzle
3. Contact cutting skirt
Step 2: Adjust the current with
the encoder
Step 3: Press the reset key.
The generator is now ready for cutting and will give the best
results in this cutting mode.
IMPORTANT: THIS CUTTING MODE PROVIDES THE BEST
RESULTS UP TO 8 MM!
Second possibilty: SET THE SELECTOR SWITCH TO THE
"REMOTE” POSITION
This cutting mode is better for speed and more suitable for thicker
material. We recommend using it for cutting material up to 30 mm,
or to increase the cutting speed below this thickness but to the
detriment of the cutting quality.
Step 1: Fit the torch with its wearing parts
1. Short electrode
2. Nozzle
3. Remote cutting skirt
4. Pad
Step 2: Adjust the current with the encoder
Step 3: Press the reset button.
IMPORTANT: THIS CUTTING MODE IS BETTER FOR SPEED
AND SUITABLE FOR CUTTING MATERIAL UP TO 30 MM.
MESH MODE
This cutting mode is used for dismantling. It re-
strikes the pilot arc and saves having to press the
trigger again when leaving the material. The cutting
capacities are the same as in the normal cutting cy-
cle whether for remote cutting or contact cutting.
