Combustion air
The required oxygen for the fire is supplied through inlet below the door of the appliance.
An optimal combustion requires sufficient fresh air (see technical data). A lack of oxygen may result in incomplete
combustion and reversing flue gases.
Additional combustion air can be supplied by placing an air inlet grill as close as possible to the appliance. Air inlet
grills must be positioned so that they are not liable to blockage.
Combustion air can also be supplied from the outside. To do so, a steel pipe must be connected to the external air
adaptor (optional). This is performed as follows:
Rear connection
1.
Remove the pre-cut cover on the rear of the convection mantle.
2.
Link the connector with the pipe for the combustion air using a
tie down strap. Then secure the connection on the rear of the
combustion chamber with 3 screws.
3.
Place the cover plate around the pipe and screw it tight.
Bottom connection
1.
Remove the pre-cut cover at the bottom of the mantle.
2.
Secure the connector on the rear of the combustion chamber
using the 3 screws included
3.
Place the connection in the connector and secure the connection
on the convection mantle using the 2 remaining screws.
The combustion air connection at the bottom requires a height under
the convection mantle of 120mm and a depth behind the convection
mantle of around 50mm.
ATTENTION!
Extractor fans when operating in the same room or space as the appliance may cause problems.
