WASTE DISPOSAL
Pursuant to directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic
equipment waste (WEEE), and specifically Annex IX:
The icon of the crossed-out wheeled bin
on the appliance or its packaging indicates
that the product must be disposed of sepa-
rately from other waste at the end of its
operational life. The user must therefore
take the appliance to be disposed of to a
suitable recycling centre for electronic and
electro-technical equipment, or alterna-
tively hand it over to the vendor when pur-
chasing a new appliance of a similar type. Separating this product
for subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally-friendly
disposal will help prevent potential environmental and health risks,
and allow the materials which make up the appliance to be re-used
and/or recycled. Specific administrative sanctions provided for by
current regulations will be applied for illicit disposal of the product
by the user.
