1 - GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1
General safety precautions
NOTE:
Before operating the machine, thoroughly read this instruction manual and carefully follow all steps
contained herein. Heed all safety precautions. The manual provides necessary information for the
safe and correct operation the machine.
This machine has been designed with great attention to safety. The machine is manufactured with all necessary safety devi-
ces.
The following information has been added to each paragraph when necessary:
• Operator’s minimum required qualifications
• Number of necessary operators
• Operating state of machine
• Possible dangers of operation
• Troubleshooting
This information should be carefully observed.
Particular attention should be given to Paragraph 1.4 “Icons”, which contains detailed explanations of the various icons
used in this manual.
Keep in mind the following information:
• It is strictly forbidden to disconnect or disassemble the safety devices installed in the machine by the Manufacturer.
• Under certain circumstances (explained in this manual), operation of the machine may need to be performed with disa-
bled safety devices. In these cases, operating the machine should be performed only in conformity with the correspon-
ding instructions explained in this manual.
• After completion of procedures with safety features disabled, be sure to re-activate the safety devices immediately.
• During cleaning procedures, the main power should be turned off and the power cord disconnected from the electrical
outlet.
• Do not modify, for any reason, parts of the machine. The Manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to the
machine if machine malfunction is due to the failure to observe the abovementioned instructions.
• Clean the housing of the machine, external panels and controls with damp, non-abrasive cloths. Do not use harsh deter-
gents or abrasive liquids. Do not immerse the machine in water.
