INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Your Saddlemen Fairing Bra has been designed to mount easily to the frame-mounting
fairings on certain Harley-Davidson Touring Model motorcycles. By referring to this instruc-
tion set you (or your professional motorcycle technician) will need to determine the best
mounting method to install this accessory on your motorcycle.
NOTE: Prior to bra installation make sure your fairing is clean and waxed. Your bra’s
soft inner liner will help protect the paint finish if you make sure no dirt or debris is
present.
STEP 1:
Use a Phillips screwdriver and remove the five screws securing the windshield to
the fairing. It is best to remove the windshield and set it in a safe place so it will not be
damaged as you work on your motorcycle. Move to STEP 2.
The images in this instruction set may be different than your accessory or motorcycle.

.
STEP 2:
You must loosen the outer fairing from the inner dash so you can insert retention
strips around the bra’s perimeter. When the fairing and inner dash hardware is retightened,
it will grasp the retention strips that are on the perimeter of the bra. This will help hold the
fairing bra in place.
Use the appropriate sized driver to remove the six Torx-style screws
1
from the inner
dash. Move to STEP 3.
STEP 3:
Apply some thick, protective tape to the painted surface around the headlights’
bezel. This will help you protect the paint finish as you pry the bezel away from the fairing.
Use a flat screwdriver or pry-bar to carefully pop the bezel out of the fairing and place it in
a safe location. Move to STEP 4.
CAUTION: The bezel can be difficult to remove if you are unfamiliar with its retention
system. If you have difficulty removing the bezel, stop and get assistance from your
dealer or a qualified technician. Improperly forcing the bezel out of the fairing can
damage it or injure the fairing’s finish.
STEP 4:
The center of the fairing bra has nylon webbing loops
2
that will be captured by
the tabs on the headlight bezel when it is reinstalled. This is the center section of the bra’s
retention system. Move to STEP 5.
TIP: Before installation, unpack the fairing bra and allow it to rest unfolded in the
warm sun. This will allow any winkles from packing to smooth out and make the
SaddleHyde more pliable for installation.
