3.4 Description of the column functions
3.4.1 Quickfix
For receipt of the different camera heads the Quick-
fix is already part of the column. The lateral clam-
ping screw moves the clamps by using the enclosed
hexagonal key (6 mm). Red indicator pins on the
outside of the Quickfix show the “open” position.
3.4.2 Column brake
The column brake (“LOCK” lever on the column’s
side) serves as an operational lock and can be
clamped in any desired position (red = closed, green
= opened). Please note that the lever should always
be moved until the end stop!
This mechanism can compensate up to 10kg/22lbs.
