OPERATION

PROBE MEASURING MODE

CAUTION.

The electrode measurement

probes are extremely sharp. Use care

when handling this instrument. Cover the

probes with their protective covers and

close the probe lid when the instrument

is not in use.

Open the probe lid and remove the probe

protective covers to expose the electrode probes.
Press the On/Off button to turn on the unit.
Use the Scroll Up and Scroll Down buttons to scroll

to the probe measuring mode screen, Fig.7.

WOOD PROBE MEASURING MODE

Insert the probes into the wood. The moisture value

of the wood will be displayed on the screen. If you

wish to lock the measurement value on the screen

press the HOLD button, Fig.8. The value locked

symbol will show on screen. If you wish to remove

the locked value press the HOLD button again.

BUILDING MATERIALS PROBE MEASURING

MODE

The measuring building materials operation is the

same as measuring wood.
Use the Scroll Up and Scroll Down buttons to scroll

to the BLDG probe measuring mode screen, Fig.9.
Insert the probes into the building material. The

moisture value of the building material will be

displayed on the screen. If you wish to lock the

measurement value on the screen press the HOLD

button. The value locked symbol will show on

screen. If you wish to remove the locked value

press the HOLD button again.

MEASURING AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

Use the Scroll Up and Scroll Down buttons to scroll

to the ambient temperature measuring screen,

The unit automatically detects the temperature of

the current environment and shows the value in

celcius and fahrenheit.
Some factors, such as the type and temperature of

the material, can affect the moisture measurement

results. The measuring value of this instrument is

only for reference data, don't use it as a basis for

professional metrology.
