CLEANING THE UNIT
1. Turn the shears off, and remove the battery.
2. Use a small brush or the air discharge of
a vacuum cleaner brush to keep the air
vents free of obstructions.
3. Do not use any strong detergents on the
plastic housing or plastic components.
Those parts can be damaged by certain
household cleaners that contain aromatic
oils such as pine and lemon, and may
also cause a shock hazard. Wipe off any
moisture with a soft cloth.
STORING THE GRASS SHEARS
When not in use, remove the battery, replace the
blade cover, and store grass shears, battery, and
charging accessories indoors in a dry place, up
high or in a locked area, out of the reach of
children.
For seasonal storage, clean and lubricate the
unit as described in
Blade Cleaning
, and
replace the blade cover. Always remove the
battery from the unit before placing in storage.
Fully recharge the battery on removing from
seasonal storage.
