Turn the on/off switch to the off position and unplug the tool from the power supply before performing trouble shooting procedures.

Ensure that the cord is connected to the power supply

Faulty motor
Use authorised service centre to repair or replace the motor
Sanding disc or belt
do not reach full
speed
Extension cord too long or undersized
Use extension cord heavy enough to carry the current
Tool is overheating
Turn off the tool and let it cool down to room temperature.
Inspect and clean the ventilation slots
Sanding belt not
running straight
Sanding belt not aligned
Use the belt tracking knob to align the sanding belt on the
wheels
Vibration or abnormal
noise
Loose parts
Check to see that all handles and screws are secure
including the table locking handles, disc cover screws and
belt cover screws.
Moving parts excessively worn
Use authorised service centre to repair or replace
