 WARNING

Never wedge or hold back the workpiece contact

mechanism during operation of the tool. Doing so could

result in possible serious injury.

The tool will drive a staple each time the trigger is

depressed, after the workpiece contact is depressed. Both

trigger and nose piece must be released before another

staple can be driven.

Full sequential actuation mode:

This stapler employs full sequential actuation mode.

■ Install the battery. Reactivate tool.

■ Grip the tool firmly to maintain control. Position the

nose of the tool onto the work surface.

■ Push the tool against the work surface to depress the

workpiece contact.

■ Squeeze the trigger to drive a staple.

■ Always remove your finger from the trigger after the

staple has been driven.

■ Both the nosepiece contact and trigger must be

released (reset) before another staple can be fired by

repeating above sequence.

NOTE:

Hold trigger until drive cycle is complete.

DRY-FIRE LOCKOUT

When the magazine has 0-5 staples remaining, the dry-fire

lockout feature will not allow continued operation.
To resume operation, reload the tool with staples.

CONSTRUCTION RULER

A construction ruler located along the left side of the

magazine allows the operator to make quick measurements

while working.

LED WORK LIGHTS
See Figure 11.

■ Press LED work light grip switch while firmly holding

tool during normal operation.

DIAGNOSTIC FEEDBACK

The LED work lights provide feedback to indicate whether

the battery pack is charged sufficiently and/or if the tool is

functioning properly.
If  work  lights  are  flashing,  install  a  fully  charged  battery.

If lights continue to flash, see

Troubleshooting

 section for

more information.

REMOVING A JAMMED STAPLE
See Figure 12.

 WARNING

Remove the battery pack before removing staples or

clearing a jammed staple. Failure to do so could result in

serious personal injury.

■ Remove battery pack from the tool.

■ Open magazine and remove staples from the tool.

■ Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the driving

mechanism and push the driver mechanism back,

freeing the jam.

■ Remove the bent staple.

■ Reinsert staples and close the magazine.

■ Reinstall the battery and reactivate the tool.

NOTE:

Driving too deeply into the material, excess debris,

or jammed fasteners may lead to a driver blade being stuck

at its bottom position.

MAINTENANCE

 WARNING

When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.

Use of any other parts can create a hazard or cause

product damage.

 WARNING

Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to

comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in

objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible

serious injury.

 WARNING

To avoid serious personal injury, always remove

the battery pack from the product when cleaning or

performing any maintenance.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most

plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of

commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.

Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

 WARNING

Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-

based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact

with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or

destroy plastic which could result in serious personal

injury.
