12. Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to disconnect 

the appliance from the mains. Always the unit to cool and unplug it when not in use, before 

cleaning or when adding or removing parts.

are ON before you remove the porta-filter/ parts/ accessories in order to make additional 

coffee.  Caution should also be taken while removing the porta-filter since the metal parts
