Before starting work, check the direction of the bending force inside the log to be cut. Always
finish cutting on the opposite side of the bend direction to prevent the guide bar from getting
caught in the cut. A log placed on the ground (Fig. 23) Cut halfway, then roll the log and cut
from the opposite side.

finish by cutting with the chainsaw from top to bottom. In area (2) cut from the top down one
