▪ Be careful about rolling a cut log when working on a slope.
Before starting work, check the direction of the bending force inside the log to be cut.
Always finish the cut from the opposite side of the bending direction to avoid the guide
rail getting caught in the cut.
A log lying on the ground (Fig. 23) Cut halfway through, then roll the log over and cut
from the opposite side.

A log positioned above the ground (Fig. 24). In area (1), cut upwards one third from the
bottom and finish by electro-saw cutting from top to bottom. In zone (2) cut from top to
bottom one third and finish by cutting with the electro-saw from bottom to top.

Cutting the branch of a fallen tree (Fig. 25). First check which side the bent branch is
on, then make the initial cut from the bent side and complete the electro-saw cut from
the opposite side.

ATTENTION! Pay attention to the recoil given by the branch after cutting. Clearing
branches from a standing tree (Fig. 26) Cut from the bottom up and finish from the top.
