3. Filling battery with acid
The ambient temperature should be between 15°C and 30°C.
Fill each cell with the electroly to the mark („UPPER LEVEL“ or
„MAX“) as indicated on the battery.
After that the battery should rest for 30 minutes. Degassing can
happen, therefore provide sufficient ventilation. Avoid sparks,
fire etc. Danger of explosion!
Electrolyte level may fall during standing. Refill again to the
mark.
4. Charging the battery
A dry charged battery is ready for use about 30 minutes after
the filling. To ensure the best performance and long life we
recommend to charge the battery before the initial use.
Charge the battery with a Motorcycle battery charger that is
suited for this size/type of battery with an output current of
1/10th of the battery‘s rated capacity. Charging can take several
hours.
In case that the electrolyte level droped down after the initial
charge refill the respective cell with leftover electrolyte from the
acid pack to the marking. If there is no more electrolyte only
use distilled water to refill.

4. Sealing the battery
Seal the battery with the plugs. Clean of any spilled acid.
