Note
1. The first 8 ports on the M7800-02XS24SFP/8GT module are the
fiber/copper combo ports, i.e., each SFP port corresponds to a combo
10/100/1000BASE-T port. Only one port can be used at the same time.
2. The M7800-02XS24SFP/8GT module supports the 1000BASE-X and
100BASE-FX mode. For how to configure the ports in the required working
mode, please refer to the
Configuration Manual
of Ruijie Networks.

LED Description
The M7800-24SFP/8GT module provides various system LEDs, wherein the Status LED
indicates the system working status, the Link/ACT LED indicates the working state of each
port, as described in the following table:

OFF: The module has not been powered on.
Red: The module is faulty.
Flashing green: The module is initializing; if it
keeps on flashing, the module is faulty.
Solid

Link/ACT
GT port LED
OFF: Port is not linked up.
Green: Port is linked up and the data will be
transmitted at the rate of 100Mbps.
Yellow: Port is linked up and the data will be
transmitted at the rate of 10Mbps/100Mbps.
Flashing green: The data is transmitted on the
port.
SFP port LED
OFF: Port is not linked up.
Green: Port is linked up and the data will be
transmitted at the rate of 100Mbps.
Yellow: Port is linked up and the data will be
transmitted at the rate of 100Mbps.
Flashing green: The data is transmitted on the
port.
XF port LED
OFF: Port is not linked up.
Green: Port is linked up and the data will be
transmitted at the rate of 10Gbps.
Flashing green: The data is transmitted on the
port.
Note
RG-S7800 series switch provides the power management function. Upon
being inserted into the chassis or powering on the chassis, all RG-S7800
service cards are not powered on and all LEDs are OFF untill the CMs
’
control
over powering on the service cards based on the current power condition. It
takes approximately dozens of seconds to finish the whole process, please
wait.
