5.5. Switchable scale
All series 1252 peakmeter are equipped with a switchable scale. Depending
on the type of unit in use a change between two different scales and ballis-
tics can be performed: digital scale (-60 dB FS to 0 dB FS) or quasi-analog
DIN scale (-50 dB to +5 dB) with 1252DIG, digital scale (-60 dB FS to 0 dB
FS) or quasi-analog British Standard IIa scale (1 - 7) with 1252DIG-B, digital
scale (-60 dB FS to 0 dB FS) or quasi-analog Nordic Rec. N9 scale (-42 dB
to +12 dB) with 1252DIG-N). The desired scale can be activated by
operating the scale slider button.
Please note that the scale slider button must be pushed until it locks on
either one end of the scale. If it does not enter the final position the required
settings for integration time or ballistics may not be set correctly.
