The LAN24710/34710 features an Intel X710 10 Gigabit Ethernet controller used to interface with fiber Ethernet
connections using SFP+ sockets. To maximize performance MSI-X support, multiple queues and various offloading
functionalities are provided. For virtualized environments VMDQ (Virtual Machine Device Queue), SR-IOV (Single
Root IO Virtualization), VLAN, FPP (Flexible Port Partitioning) and many other features are available.

Fiber connectivity is possible by means of SFP modules. Intel assures compatibility only with their own SFP+ modules. Operation with other
type of SFP module cannot be guaranteed. The compatible modules are listed below
