Installation
3.1
Unpack the incubator by lifting it from the delivery pallet ensuring it is supported by the base.
At least two people are required for safe lifting. In the unlikely event of any transit damage this
must be reported within 7 days.
3.2
The following items are supplied with your new incubator:-
3 Non-tip shelves (securely packed separately)
2 shelving racks (securely packed separately)
18 Silicone Rubber Suction Feet. Supplied packed in accessory bag
1 Humidity tray (securely packed separately)
1 Mains power cord supplied packed in accessory bag
3m of PVC 6mm bore plastic tubing supplied in accessory bag
1 CO
2
HEPA-vent filter (connected to PVC tube in accessory bag)
2 Hose clips supplied packed in accessory bag
4 Adjustable feet (To ensure adequate airflow for correct operation of the relative humidity
control system the incubator feet
must
be fitted. Feet are supplied fitted to the unit.

If required, further shelves can be purchased up to a maximum of 6. The humidity tray has a fixed
position at the lowest shelf rack position. The humidity tray should always be left in place even if the
incubator is not humidified.
3.3
In order to use the incubator you will require:-
a)
A 220/240V 50 Hz or 100/120V 50/60 Hz earthed electrical supply - minimum
capacity 3 amps (5 amps High Temperature Decontamination Models).
Or
A 100/120V 50/60 Hz earthed electrical supply - minimum capacity 6 amps (8
amps High Temperature Decontamination Models).
b)

stage regulator for pressure control to 0.35 BAR. (5lbf / in

Copper Sulphate or other biocide for the humidity reservoir (optional).
3.4
The incubator is designed to operate at a chamber temperature of 4.0°C above ambient and
at an absolute minimum ambient temperature of 15°C if being used at 37°C. Therefore care
should be taken to avoid placing the incubator in draughts, direct sunlight or near a radiator.
