Cleaning and maintenance by qualified persons
Maintenance work that is not listed in Chapters 4.2 - 4.3 may only be carried out by the
ROWI Service Centre (see Chapter 5). In the case of maintenance work within the first 24
months that has not been carried out by persons or companies authorized by ROWI, all
warranty claims shall become null and void.
Fault
Possible cause(s)
Remedy
Appliance does not
start.
No power or voltage too
low.
The appliance is not
switched on.
The room temperature is
above the temperature set
at the thermostat.
Make sure that the connec-
tor is plugged into the socket.
Check the power supply volt-
age.
Turn the heating level switch
to position "Fan", "I" or "II".
Increase the
thermostat temperature.
The appliance switches
off during operation.
The thermal overload
switch has triggered. The
appliance has exceeded
the maximum permissible
temperature.
The room temperature is
above the temperature set
at the thermostat.
The thermal fuse has trig-
gered
Switch the appliance off,
by moving the heating level
switch to position "0" and
pull the power plug out of
the socket. Allow the appli-
ance to cool down for several
minutes. Check the air inlet
and air outlet openings and
remedy the cause of the over-
heating before restarting the
appliance.
Increase the thermostat tem-
perature.
