2. Preparing the Product for Operation
2.1 Unpacking the scope of supply
Check whether the scope of supply is complete and free of defects immediately after ope-
ning the packaging. Contact the seller immediately if the scope of supply is incomplete or
defective. Do not put the appliance into operation if it is defective.
2.2 Keeping the original packaging
Keep the original packaging in a safe place over the entire service life of the product. Use
the packaging for storing and transporting the appliance. Only dispose of the packaging
after the product service life has come to an end. You can find information on the proper
disposal in Chapter 8.

Setting up the appliance
The appliance may only be operated in a secure, vertical and stable location on the wall.
Always ensure the required minimum distance of
1 m
to all sides, flammable objects and
other hazard sources.

Do not position the appliance directly below a wall socket.

Mounting the appliance on the ceiling is prohibited.

Open the packaging and remove the appliance along with the accompanying wall
mounting set.

Mark the position on the wall area, at which the heater is to hang later.
To achieve the best possible performance from your heater, the optimum height
should be between 20 cm and 100 cm from the ground.

Drill the holes with a corresponding drill bit. Then insert the plastic dowels in the holes.

Screw the screws into the drilled holes and allow the screw to unscrew 4 - 5 mm. Then
take the appliance and hang it on the wall with the mounting brackets.
